SharpLase laser systems are effective tools for marking and engraving of metals and alloys. According to the specific needs, marking on metal can take different forms. Annealing marking, for example, allows high contrast marking without any material removal. Laser engraving technique, on the other hand, allows a deeper marking after melting or evaporation of a portion of the material due to beam intensity. Engraved marks are exceptionally durable and can only be removed by heavy grinding.
